I am Kelvin van Hasselt, the Club Chairman.

Some years ago, I dropped in to have a look at the Club.  At the Club’s car park, a Club member, now a great friend, scooped me up and within minutes I was playing tennis in a foursome on one of Cromer’s famous grass courts.

As Club chairman it is now my simple job and that of all staff, our committee and our Club members to make sure that everybody is similarly welcomed, introduced to others and made to feel at home at the Club, and that everybody, whether they are casual visitors, booking a court for an hour, coming for coaching, tournament players, club members, coaches or staff, are all given maximum opportunities to enjoy, improve and benefit from the Club, with its amazing facilities, staff and team of coaches for 5 racquet sports – Tennis, Squash, Racquetball, Table Tennis & Pickleball (the fastest growing sport in America). 

It is the Club’s task to serve the community; it is a little known fact that the Club’s continued existence, providing these amazing facilities and coaching for racquet sports, open to all,  is greatly due to the continued support and vision of our partners, North Norfolk District Council (NNDC). 

So, come and have a look round the Club, experience it for yourself – there’s a lot going on ……
